PRESH: Hello, please reintroduce yourself to us
OLUWATOBILOBA: My name is Ogundairo Oluwatobiloba Hannah
PRESH: Welcome Tobiloba, it’s nice to have you back here
OLUWATOBILOBA: Thank you
PRESH: So, from what we know, you own Sonnie’s collection. Why did you pick this line of business?
OLUWATOBILOBA: Sonnie’s collections is all about Fashion. I picked it because Fashion never expires, neither does it go out of style and I love seeing people dress well
PRESH: So, it wasn’t about the money?
OLUWATOBILOBA: Money is part oo. At first, I started business because I wanted to have a side income but I later fell in love with it totally. It is now part of me
PRESH: Interesting, when we spoke to you over a year ago, you said capital was your major challenge. How did you overcome that?
OLUWATOBILOBA: You mean overcoming!
PRESH: π OK, how are you overcoming the challenge?
OLUWATOBILOBA: Saving!!! Even if I make 100 naira I make sure I save it and not spend it anyhow. I now cut my coat, I make sure I save to reach my target always. I set a target for myself every week
PRESH: Hmm, before we go on and on into your business, tell us about yourself, your childhood to start with.
OLUWATOBILOBA: I am the 7th child of my parents(the last born actually). I was born Feb 10 in the late 90’s . I did my primary education Child best nursery and primary school, then proceed to my secondary education in Debest college
PRESH: 7th π Must have been so much fun growing up with 6 older ones. They’d have spoilt you π
OLUWATOBILOBA: They were far too old!!! My immediate older brother is 7 years older than I am
PRESH: Yes now, it means they’d have spoilt you with goodies
OLUWATOBILOBA: And lots of flogging

PRESH: π I trust. So, they say a lot of people find or what they want when they’re much younger. Was this the case for you? Did you sell things by any chance when you were younger?
OLUWATOBILOBA: I did ππ I remember buying 12 pairs of earring for 100 naira and selling it for 50 naira each then. I was so happy about making profit that huge
PRESH: Wow! That much π You certainly had it in you. How much of an impact did that have on you starting out?
OLUWATOBILOBA: I didn’t even remember until last year or so when I was thinking
PRESH: So now into the present, what is your debt management policy?
OLUWATOBILOBA: No pick up or delivery until full payment has been made
No keep for me without half payment atleast
No family in business
PRESH: Nice, so you basically shop for people
OLUWATOBILOBA: Yes, that is what I do

PRESH: So, let’s say I have a classic event, how much would it take for you to style me?
OLUWATOBILOBA: It depends on the event and your taste of fashion
PRESH: You’re a biology student, what are your plans for that aspect of your life?
OLUWATOBILOBA: I don’t know God’s plan for my life but as my own plan is to go totally into business
If I don’t have a business chat or deal for 1 hour I feel something is missing. It is a part of me that I love
PRESH: So no biology in your agenda for now?
OLUWATOBILOBA: Maybe later but I don’t have plans for that now
PRESH: How much progress have you made in the last 1 year?
OLUWATOBILOBA: Ummmmm
What is the right English to useπ Huge! Big!! Plenty!!! I have been doing well in business to a reasonable extent
PRESH: So, what more should we expect from Sonnie’s collection soon?
OLUWATOBILOBA: Alot! I am having alot of sleepless night preparing with God’s help and my customers’ support We are taking over
PRESH: If there’s anyone out there who wants to do business like you, what’s your advice to them?
OLUWATOBILOBA: Don’t give up. Never compare your 2 months old business to a business that is a year or more. Learn communication, it’s good for business. Control your anger, customers are always right, smile always. Keep account of all transactions, always pray. Lastly, Keep moving, no one said it was going to be easy but it will be worth it.
PRESH: Thank you so so much for these words and for your time. I can’t wait for you to shop for me. Please, drop your contact for those who would need your services.
